Telegram
Coming soon
Send short messages to your assistants from Telegram and get plain-text replies. Coming soon: connect with a token from Telegram's own app flow.
On this page
Telegram is a second way to reach your assistants: short messages from your phone, with plain-text replies. It suits quick questions and nudges rather than long work.

Setup (when it opens)#
- In Telegram, use Telegram's own app-creation flow to make a new app for your assistants, and copy the token it gives you.
- Find your numeric Telegram user id, so only you can message your assistants.
- Open Integrations and pick Telegram, paste the token and your user id, and press Connect.
Permissions#
Telegram tokens have no scopes to pick. The token lets your StellarFirm workspace:
- Receive messages sent to the app.
- Send replies from it.
Only the user ids you list are answered. A message from anyone else is ignored.
Good to know#
- Approve and Reject buttons are in Slack, not Telegram. Until Slack opens, approve on the Approvals page.
- Replies are plain text, with no formatting or attachments.
- Your token stays with your StellarFirm workspace and is never shown back to you. The page shows only that it is connected.
- Treat the token like a password. If it leaks, create a new one in Telegram and paste it again.
