PagerDuty is where your team handles incidents and on-call schedules. Once you connect it, the Coder can see which incidents are open and who is on call, so it knows what is on fire before it starts work.
The assistant sees what the token's owner can see in PagerDuty.
Nothing here waits for an Approve because nothing here changes data. An incident is never acknowledged or resolved from chat; you do that in PagerDuty.
Delete the token in PagerDuty whenever you want to cut access.
PagerDuty has more than one region. If your account is in the European one, the connection needs that region's address; the setup screen will tell you when it opens.
The token acts as you. Think of it like handing a colleague read access to your incident view, and remove it when you no longer need it.
Pair it with Datadog: PagerDuty tells the Coder what is wrong, Datadog tells it why.
