Vapi runs voice assistants that answer and place phone calls. Once you connect it, your assistants can read your call history and call details and follow up on what callers wanted.

What assistants can do#
Vapi connects through the tool's own hosted connector, and it is read only.

Setup (when it opens)#
- In the Vapi dashboard, open the page for keys, add a private key, and copy it. A public key does not work here.
- Open Integrations in StellarFirm and pick Vapi.
- Paste the key, switch on the live option, and press Connect.
Permissions#
- Nothing here waits for an Approve because nothing here changes data. No call is ever placed from chat.
- The private key can do everything in your Vapi account, so keep it to this one use and revoke it in Vapi whenever you want to cut access.
