MCP and API access is coming to Ultra only. You’ll be able to connect a compatible AI client to run your StellarFirm assistants and call StellarFirm models. Usage will draw from your existing StellarFirm credits and follow your budgets and approval rules. Hobby and Plus do not include developer access.

Credits measure the work your assistants do on StellarFirm, and bigger jobs use more. Every answer says which model wrote it and how many credits it used. Plus and Ultra include the credits you pick every month. Hobby has no plan fee and is pay as you go: you pay per use, with the credits you top up.

Credits pay for the work your assistants do on StellarFirm. Model calls are priced from one rate card, by the words a model reads and writes. Web search and reading pages on StellarFirm's keys have 50 free calls a month per tool, then use credits. Research tools (scholarly works, news, videos and their transcripts, market prices, the weather), reading scanned pages, reading answers aloud and writing down speech have no free calls. Predictions from a table are priced by the thousand rows, also with no free calls. Pictures and videos are priced per file. Each assistant's computer uses credits for every minute it runs in StellarFirm cloud. Every model call, scanned page and speech request shows as a row on the Usage screen.

Each model is priced from what its maker charges for it, with one rate for the words it reads and another for the words it writes. The largest frontier models from Claude, GPT, Gemini and Grok cost more per word; small and open models cost far less. On Auto, StellarFirm picks a model that fits the task, so simple asks stay cheap.

During the 14-day trial every model is open to you, Claude, GPT, Gemini and Grok included. After it, Hobby runs open models such as GLM, Qwen, Mistral and DeepSeek. Claude, GPT, Gemini and Grok, your own keys for them, and running the Coder on your own Claude or ChatGPT subscription come with Plus and Ultra.

No. Save your own Claude, GPT, Gemini, Grok, Mistral, OpenRouter, Requesty or MindStudio key and pick it for an assistant: those calls are billed by the provider to you, logged in Usage, and never charged in credits. Your own Claude, GPT, Gemini and Grok keys come with the trial, Plus and Ultra. On Hobby the other keys still work, but never for a Claude, GPT, Gemini or Grok model.

Open models StellarFirm runs for you use credits, usually far fewer than frontier models, and they are what Hobby runs after the trial. An open model you run yourself on your computer, with the desktop app, never uses credits.

Reading your own connected tools (mail, calendars, Slack, your files) adds nothing beyond the model's own words. The tools StellarFirm pays for do use credits. Web search and page reading on StellarFirm's keys include 50 free calls a month per tool, then cost about 0.4 to 3 credits a call, only when the call worked. Research tools (scholarly works, news, videos and their transcripts, market prices, the weather) have no free calls and cost a few hundredths of a credit up to about 5 a call, charged when the vendor answered. Reading scanned pages, reading answers aloud, writing down speech and predictions from a table (priced by the thousand rows) have no free calls either. On your own search key, web search is never metered.

In StellarFirm cloud, 0.4 credits for each minute it runs: 24 credits an hour, and nothing once it stops. Or connect your own computer with StellarFirm Computer and it costs no credits at all.

For 14 days you have up to 30 assistants and unlimited teams, every model including Claude, GPT, Gemini and Grok, and your free starting credits, with no card. After that your company stays on Hobby, which has no plan fee: you pay as you go with the credits you top up, you can have up to 6 assistants and 2 teams, and the models are the open ones. Everything you already hired and made stays and keeps working, even if it is more than Hobby includes; you just cannot add another assistant or team past the limit until you pick a plan. Unused trial credits stay on your balance. Pick Plus or Ultra any time for credits every month and Claude, GPT, Gemini and Grok.

Hobby includes up to 6 assistants and 2 teams, Plus up to 15 assistants and 5 teams, and Ultra up to 30 assistants and unlimited teams. The 14-day trial has Ultra's limits. Custom assistants, roles you make yourself with any of our skills, come with Ultra, Business and the 14-day trial. A team is a group of your assistants who work together, like a coding agency or a marketing department, and every assistant is in one team. Extra seats add people, not assistants or teams. If you ever have more than your plan includes, everything you have stays and keeps working; you just cannot add another assistant or team until you pick a bigger plan.

Yes. Plus and Ultra come yearly for 20% less than twelve monthly payments, and extra seats come yearly too. Your included credits still arrive every month of the year. Hobby is free.

Included credits on Plus and Ultra are for that month and do not roll over. Top-up credits stay on your balance until you use them.

Work that needs StellarFirm credits pauses and tells you. Top up, or pick a bigger tier. Work on your own keys and your own computer keeps going.

Yes. Pick a new tier here and the new plan starts at once. The credits the old plan already gave you stay on your balance.

If a run failed, the answer offers Refund credits, once, and the credits it used come back.

No. Sending, publishing, deploying, deleting and closing wait for your Approve, unless you turned on auto-approve for that kind of work. Anything that spends your money always asks, with no way to turn that off.

No. Extra seats add people. They do not multiply included credits.

In the app, open your account menu and choose Billing. Invoices, receipts and payment methods live in Stripe's billing portal.
