Deel

Deel runs hiring, contracts, and payroll for employees and contractors in many countries. Once you connect it, your assistants can read who works for you, on which contract, and what payroll holds, without you exporting a sheet.

Which assistants use it#

Neither of these personas is open yet. The Coder is the only persona available today, and it does not list Deel.

What assistants can do#

Deel connects through the tool's own hosted connector, and it is read only.

Setup (when it opens)#

1. In Deel, open More, then Developer, then Apps.
2. Generate a personal access token with read scopes only, such as people and contracts.
3. Open Integrations in StellarFirm.
4. Pick Deel.
5. Paste the token, switch on the live option, and press Connect.

Permissions#

• The assistants read what the token's scopes allow. Give it read scopes only.
• Nothing here waits for an Approve because nothing here changes data. Hiring, contract changes, and payroll runs are never run from chat.
• Revoke the token in Deel whenever you want to cut access.

Good to know#

• Pay and personal details stay in the answer you asked for. Ask for the part you need, such as everyone starting next month, instead of a full read-out.
• The Accountant uses Deel to prepare the payroll sheet and the month-end checklist; paying people is always yours.
