What is StellarFirm?

StellarFirm is your company of AI assistants. You are the CEO: set goals, approve risky steps, and let the assistants do the work.

StellarFirm is a company of AI assistants that does knowledge work for you. You are the CEO. You say what you want, in your own words, and the assistants take it from there. They pass work to each other when a job needs more than one role, and they come back to you when a decision matters.

Mission brief#

AssistantsEach assistant has a job, called a persona: the Coder, and later Product owner, Marketing, Accountant, and Legal.
WorkspacesEvery assistant works in its own private workspace, a computer of its own, kept apart from the others.
ApprovalsAnything that sends, deploys, charges, publishes, or creates waits for your Approve. See approvals.
House rulesThe rules for your company. They decide what the assistants may do without asking. See house rules.

How a job flows#

  1. You write a goal in chat, for example "Fix the failing tests on main."
  2. The CEO assistant reads it, writes a short brief, and hands it to the right assistant.
  3. The assistant works in its workspace. You can watch it in Jobs and on the assistant's computer.
  4. When the work reaches a step that affects the outside world, such as opening a pull request, it stops and asks. The request appears on Approvals.
  5. You approve or reject. The assistant carries on and reports back in chat.

Pick whichever suits you. You can sign in to both with the same account, and the chat, Approvals, Jobs, and Settings look the same.
