Jina AI reads web pages and PDFs as clean text and searches the web and research papers. Once you connect it, your assistants can read sources in full, rank what they found by relevance, and cite each one.

What assistants can do#
Jina AI connects through the tool's own hosted connector, and it is read only.

Setup (when it opens)#
- Open jina.ai/api-dashboard and copy your key. It starts with
jina_. You can also create a new key there. - Open Integrations in StellarFirm and pick Jina AI.
- Paste the key, switch on the live option, and press Connect.
Permissions#
- Nothing here waits for an Approve because nothing here changes data.
- Searching and ranking need the key, and each call uses your Jina tokens. Reading a page works without it, more slowly.
- Revoke the key in Jina AI whenever you want to cut access.
Good to know#
- Every fact from the web comes with the address of the page it came from.
