# PropertyData

> Let Sales and Marketing read what UK homes sell for, rents, valuations, and area facts from PropertyData. Read only. Coming soon.

PropertyData collects UK property market data by postcode: what homes sold for, what is listed now, rents, yields, and the facts about an area. Once you connect it, Sales can compare a home with the market before a seller meeting, and Marketing can describe an area from real figures.

## What assistants can do

PropertyData connects through the tool's own hosted connector, and it is read only.

Every call uses your PropertyData allowance, the same as a call you make on their site. The two lookups that use the most are left out.

## Setup (when it opens)

1. In PropertyData, open **Settings**, then **API access**, and copy your key.
2. Open [Integrations](https://stellarfirm.ai/app/integrations) in StellarFirm and pick PropertyData.
3. Paste the key, switch on the live option, and press Connect.

## Permissions

- Nothing here waits for an Approve because nothing here changes data.
- A figure from PropertyData is market data, not a formal valuation. Your assistants say where each figure comes from.
- Revoke the key in PropertyData whenever you want to cut access.
