# PostHog analytics

> Let Marketing, the Product owner, and the Coder read trends, funnels, retention, web analytics, dashboards, and experiment results from PostHog. Read only. Coming soon.

PostHog analytics holds what people do in your product and on your website. Once you connect it, your assistants can read trends, funnels, retention, dashboards, and experiment results and answer questions with your own numbers. It is separate from the [PostHog](/docs/integrations/posthog) support tickets integration.

## What assistants can do

PostHog analytics connects through the tool's own hosted connector, and it is read only.

## Setup (when it opens)

1. In PostHog, open **Account settings** and find your personal keys.
2. Create a personal key with the **Read-only access** preset and copy it. It starts with `phx_` and works for projects in either PostHog region.
3. Open [Integrations](https://stellarfirm.ai/app/integrations) in StellarFirm and pick PostHog analytics.
4. Paste the key, switch on the live option, and press Connect.

## Permissions

- Nothing here waits for an Approve because nothing here changes data.
- The key reads only, and the assistants see the projects it can see. Use a separate key from the PostHog support tickets one.
- Revoke the key in PostHog whenever you want to cut access.
