# Mailchimp Transactional

Mailchimp Transactional, also called Mandrill, sends the email your product sends one at a time: receipts, password resets, sign-in links. Once you connect it, Support can find out why a customer never got a message, and the Coder can look up how the service works.

## What assistants can do

Mailchimp Transactional connects through the tool's own hosted connector, and it is read only.

## Setup (when it opens)

1. In Mailchimp Transactional, open **Settings** and add a new key. Copy it; it shows once.
2. If you limit what the key may do, include the **AI Agents** permission group.
3. Open [Integrations](https://stellarfirm.ai/app/integrations) in StellarFirm and pick Mailchimp Transactional.
4. Paste the key, switch on the live option, and press Connect.

## Permissions

- Nothing here waits for an Approve because nothing here changes data. Nothing is sent from chat.
- For email campaigns to your list, use Marketing's campaign tools instead: this one covers the email your product sends.
- Revoke the key in Mailchimp Transactional whenever you want to cut access.
