# Legal Data Hunter

Legal Data Hunter collects laws, regulations, court decisions, and legal doctrine from official sources in more than 100 countries. Once you connect it, Legal and the Accountant can look up what the rules of your company's country say and cite each one, instead of quoting from memory.

## What assistants can do

Legal Data Hunter connects through the tool's own hosted connector, and it is read only.

## Setup (when it opens)

1. Sign in at legaldatahunter.com and open your account page.
2. Create a key. Keys come with the Free and Developer plans; a Developer plan gives your assistants enough searches for daily work.
3. Open [Integrations](https://stellarfirm.ai/app/integrations) in StellarFirm and pick Legal Data Hunter.
4. Paste the key, switch on the live option, and press Connect.

## Permissions

- Nothing here waits for an Approve because nothing here changes data.
- Each search uses one of your plan's searches.
- Revoke the key in Legal Data Hunter whenever you want to cut access.

## Good to know

- Every answer names the law or decision it found and its country, and says that it is information, not legal advice.
