# HeyGen

> Let Marketing make avatar videos that read your script, in landscape or vertical. Each video waits for your Approve. Coming soon.

Status: Coming soon

HeyGen makes videos of an avatar presenter reading a script. Once you connect it, Marketing can list your avatars and voices, make a video of one reading your script for YouTube, a Reel, or a TikTok, and tell you when it is ready.

> The HeyGen integration is Coming soon. This page describes how it will work. The integrations open at launch are GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket.

## Which assistants use it

| Assistant | Status |
| --- | --- |
| [Marketing](/docs/personas/marketing) | Coming soon |

## What assistants can do

| Ability | How it runs |
| --- | --- |
| List your avatars and voices | Reads on its own |
| Check a video and get its file | Reads on its own |
| Make an avatar video from a script | Waits for your Approve |
| Delete a video | Never offered |

## Setup (when it opens)

1. In HeyGen, open the developer page in your account, add balance for the HeyGen API, and create a key. That balance is separate from your HeyGen web plan.
2. Open [Integrations](https://stellarfirm.ai/app/integrations) and pick **HeyGen**.
3. Paste the key, switch on the live option, and press **Connect**.

## Good to know

- Every video is billed to your HeyGen account, so each one waits for your Approve, and the card names the avatar, the shape, and the script.
- Pick the avatar and voice by name; Marketing looks up their ids for you.
- A video takes a few minutes. Its file link expires, so Marketing fetches a fresh one when you need it.
- Your key stays with your StellarFirm workspace and is never shown back to you.

## Prompts to try

```prompt title="Channel intro"
Marketing, list my HeyGen avatars, then make a 30 second vertical intro for my channel with this script: [script]. Wait for my Approve.
```

```prompt title="Weekly update"
Marketing, turn this week's update into a 60 second landscape video read by my usual avatar: [notes]. Wait for my Approve.
```
