# Brex

> Let your assistants read cards, expenses, budgets, and bills in Brex. Read only, through Brex's own hosted connector. Coming soon.

Brex holds company cards, expenses, budgets, and bills. Once you connect it, the Accountant can read them to close the month, chase missing receipts, and spot spending that looks unusual.

The Accountant is not open yet. The Coder is the only persona available today, and it does not list Brex.

## What assistants can do

Brex connects through the tool's own hosted connector, and it is read only.

## Setup (when it opens)

1. A Brex account or card admin turns on Brex in AI assistants under Settings, then Beta features.
2. Under Settings, then Developer, create a token with read scopes only.
3. Open [Integrations](https://stellarfirm.ai/app/integrations) in StellarFirm.
4. Pick Brex.
5. Paste the token, switch on the live option, and press Connect.

## Permissions

- The assistants read what the token's scopes allow. Give it read scopes only.
- Nothing here waits for an Approve because nothing here changes data. The Accountant never moves money.
- Revoke the token in Brex whenever you want to cut access.
