# Brandfetch

> Let the Designer look up a company's logos, colors, and fonts through Brandfetch. Read only.

Brandfetch keeps the public brand details of companies: logos, colors, fonts, and a short description. Once you connect it, the Designer can look up a company by name or website address, read what Brandfetch holds, and say which address it used.

## Which assistants use it

- The Designer

## What assistants can do

Brandfetch connects through the tool's own hosted connector, and it is read only.

| Ability | How it runs |
| --- | --- |
| Search brands by name | Reads on its own |
| Read a brand's logos, colors, and fonts | Reads on its own |
| Read a brand's description and context | Reads on its own |
| Build logo links to show in a page | Reads on its own |
| Look up many brands in one call, or turn a card transaction into a company | Never run from chat |
| Send feedback to Brandfetch | Never run from chat |

## Setup

1. Sign in at brandfetch.com and open your dashboard.
2. Open Keys and MCP and create an MCP key.
3. Open [Integrations](https://stellarfirm.ai/app/integrations) in StellarFirm and pick Brandfetch.
4. Paste the key, switch on the live option, and press Connect.

## Permissions

- Nothing here waits for an Approve because nothing here changes data.
- Each lookup uses your Brandfetch allowance. The free plan has a small monthly allowance of requests.
- Revoke the key in Brandfetch whenever you want to cut access.

## Good to know

- Every fact comes with the website address it was looked up for.
- Brandfetch's logo links are for showing a logo in a page. They are not for downloading the file, and Brandfetch blocks downloads made by a program.
- A logo belongs to its company. Check the brand's own guidelines before you use one in client work.

## Prompts to try

```prompt title="Brand lookup"
Designer, look up the brand of [company] and list its logos, colors, and fonts with the website address you used.
```

```prompt title="What to borrow"
Designer, find the brand colors and fonts of three companies in our space and tell me what they have in common and where we can stand out.
```
